| Financial report: Presented by Tony Hallin, checkbook balanced thru 7/31/08 | Old Business:Parade went well, next year need more candy and other handout ideas; Report was given by Gene, Karen and Len on the Mora Enduro - things went well, discussed idea's to help in future-Extra O2 tanks, a canopy and our banner, pulse oximeter, glucometer, look for a helicopter landing zone prior to start, and an event sheet to keep track of idea's from year to year; Run sheets were asked for - remember to bring to next meeting!; anyone that has not gotten a T-shirt or ambu bags see one of the officers; next meeting is mandatory and we will be introducing ourselves to the sheriff's Office; Karen Oberg is hosting a Pampered Chef catalog party to help raise money, ends 8/31/08 checks made out to Karen or Pampered Chef. | New Business:Pampered Chef catalogs were handed out; Brunswick days was brought up (2nd weekend in September?), does anyone know who to contact to volunteer?; two new volunteers were introduced and asked to tell us a little about themselves - Charity Felde and Cathy Dial; More fundraising idea's were discussed - Coborn's brat stand (apps due in December for following year), Nelson's coupon book (school is already doing that though); Chris Walsh's friend has a popcorn machine?; Beer Bust?; Fair booth next year and do Shishkabobs | |||||||||
| It was suggested that we maybe ask Pokegema Lake Association to donate two radio's and two jump bags; Suggestion was made to change Medical Directors to Dr. Johnson due to Dr. Hussain's departure from the area; Request to have Sheriff's Office cancel First Responders if call is already completed - Cheryl will talk to Jeff; ANSI 3 safety vests still not available, suggestion to check with Fastenall in Cambridge. | |||||||||||
