Informational Meeting Minutes from 6/26/06
 
 
Meeting was called to order at 1905 by Tony Hallin.
 
Attendance: Cheryl Blegen, Kelly Caswell, Tony Hallin and approximately 14 participants 
Introductory Introductions, Goals, Plans, Future were discussed with participants. Handouts and applications were available.
Meeting opened for general questions... "Will O2 tanks be replenished by the Ambulances?";"When will you be up and running?";"How many monthly meeting/training will you have?";"Do you have a Medical Director?";"Is there a phone number to call (ambulance or Medical Director) if needed?" It was mentioned that Clara Jones at the Sheriff's Office teaches one First Responder class per year for 5 days straight (daytime hours), it was also mentioned that Red Cross also teaches First Responder class.
It was asked what to do about a lapsed (August of 2005) First Responder Certification;"How are the First Responders going to be identified?" it was suggested to use embroidered hats and flourecent vests. It was also mentioned that we should inform Chris Olson, Police Chief of Mora regarding our group. "Are you Kanabec County wide?";"What about Ogilvie First Responders, will you go into their area?";"what about MVA's, how many will be allowed to respond to the scene?"
Meeting was adjourned at 1955 by Cheryl Blegen.
